About The Outpost

Welcome to Outpost Farm & Garden! My name is Tiffany Ryan and this is my passion. I opened the Outpost in 2001 with the intention of providing a friendly, customer-oriented farm & garden store that contains an inventory specific to the needs of the folks in the Applegate Valley. If you stop by to take a look around the store or wander around the website, my philosophy of the customer stocking the store is readily apparent.

The motto of the store is "Your Friendly `Savin` a Trip to Town` Store". My job is to have those supplies that you used to have to waste your whole Saturday afternoon and a tank of gas running around town to get. The hardware section was added in 2004 to save more trips to town. For futher convenience, the sporting goods section was added in 2006. Plans for more exciting and valuable additions are currently in the works. Every time I have what you need, my mission is accomplished!

I try to keep a good selection of emergency items ranging from vet wrap and wound spray for critters to quick fix pvc couplings and light switches for those unexpected repairs to CO2 refills for that spur-of-the-moment paintball war! With a little advanced notice, I would also be happy to special order those not-so-basic items or order enough material for your whole project!

As the store continues to grow and change, I am thankful everyday for the opportunity to meet and help the unique and wonderful people of the Applegate Valley. I truly believe this is the greatest place in the world in beauty, diversity, and community. I am proud to live here and hope for the opportunity to help you soon. Whatcha lookin` for?
